Finally, it's here, THE WEEKEND

Are you glad it's the weekend?  I know I am.  I am looking forward to sleeping late and relaxing.  

But NOOO.  This little storm in the gulf has different plans for the rest of us.  

If we could just send some of the rain we expect to get from Issac out west to help with the drought, wouldn't that be wonderful?  Oh well, I guess we will get out our hurricane check list and go over it to make sure we have everything we need.  If you need a list, go here and you can find all the info you need.  I love having smart phones.  I downloaded an app today Hurricane HD that will keep me updated.  

Oh well off to bed and I will see you later.

Ready for the Weekend

I am so glad tomorrow is Friday.  I am so tired on this Thursday.  Not as tired as Landen looks here, but I am tired.  Looking forward to some rest this week-end, but it is beginning to look like we are going to have to get ready for a little storm named Issac.

From the looks of things, it is headed our way.  Mom lives in Destin and I know they are watching closely.  Scott is going to work on the generator tomorrow to make sure it is up to pare and I guess I will go over the supply list to make sure we have everything we need to ride it out.
