Landen & Blue

Landen loves Blue.  This is my painting of Landen watching Blue.  One day, he is going to get that fish.

Some of the many photos of Landen watching Blue.

Brit found Landen playing in her Book bag again.  If you look close, he has his stuffed puppy in the bag with him.

He thinks that the plant is a toy.  He has been caught.  Bad Cat.

Project Purr is getting ready for the Fall Auction.  Click here to see more info.

Have a great night everyone

Go Away ISSAC!!!

This is how I feel!!!!  We finished getting everything together this evening to ride out the storm.  We needed a new battery for the generator and made our first shop a LOWE'S.  They were completely out.  So, since we need to stock up on a few more groceries, we went to Wal-Mart.  Crazy does not even cover the way that place was.  They did have 1, and only 1 of the batteries we needed for the generator.  The water, batteries, and bread was going quick, and canned meat GONE.  Nothing.

I was soo looking forward for an excuse to eat me some SPAM with Bacon.  That stuff is sooo good, but soo bad for me.  LOL  But no Spam of ANY KIND found on the shelves.  But we did get everything else we needed.

I stole a few friends pictures from Facebook to show the calm before the storm.  The first one was taken  by my friend Howard Jordan.  He lives on the the Eastern Shore and took this photo this evening.  So beautiful.

This one was taken by that Awesome DJ, Lee Ann Waterrs on 92ZEW.  This was Gulf Shores earlier today.

The latest computer models still have Mobile in the equation, but it is still too early to know where it will make landfall.

But Ollie from the family guys does have the right forecast.  It is going to rain.  LOL

Mobile County has issued Evacuation Orders for Zones I and II.  We are about 1.5 miles from Zone I.  But we are going to be just fine.  We are far enough away from the water so we are ready to ride it out.  Hope everyone stays safe.

Ready for the Weekend

I am so glad tomorrow is Friday.  I am so tired on this Thursday.  Not as tired as Landen looks here, but I am tired.  Looking forward to some rest this week-end, but it is beginning to look like we are going to have to get ready for a little storm named Issac.
From the looks of things, it is headed our way.  Mom lives in Destin and I know they are watching closely.  Scott is going to work on the generator tomorrow to make sure it is up to pare and I guess I will go over the supply list to make sure we have everything we need to ride it out.

xoxo
& sweet dreams
