Love my Mobile Bay: PROJECT PURR ANIMAL RESCUE

Scott's daughter Brit, has been involved with Project Purr Animal Rescue as a volunteer for over a year now.

WASHING THE FURR-BABIES

They recently celebrated the one-year anniversary. This nonprofit organization has saved over 657 cats and kittens. They work with local shelters to provide loving for-ever families for these cats & kittens. They have also been working very closely on helping the Vermilion Shelter in Louisiana which is allowed to gas animals until December 31, 2012.

"Project PURR has not allowed a single cat or kitten to be gassed in the past 10 months from this shelter and will continue to do so as long as we are able: says Ce Ce Compton, Vice President.

Brit received an award for being such a dedicated volunteer. The Mobile Press-Register had an article yesterday and quoted Brit about her volunteer work. (You can read it HERE. Can you tell I am proud of the work this girl does?)

Brit has adopted, Landen, who is a very loving & entertaining kitten. I look forward to seeing her photos on Facebook and Instagram of his latest adventures.
