EARRING HOLDER-ROLL TIDE

I have been wanting to make something to hold my earrings.  They seem to just end up in a pile on my bathroom counter and I am always missing 1 of them.  I had some scrap burlap let over from making burlap footballs.  Old frame from Thrift Store (.50), hounds tooth duck tape.

I painted the frame black, then over laid it with crimson.  I put a piece of burlap over some cardboard for the backing.  I painted the "A", put the hounds tooth duck tape flower on it, a ribbon to hang and Lookie Lookie.

I have an earring holder.

What have you made earring holders out of?

HOUNDSTOOTH DUCK TAPE TAKE II

Ok, I am having fun with my Houndstooth Duck Tape today.  I saw a post on Pinterest a while back showing some things you can make with Duck Tape.  One of them was a post by Crafty Soccer Mom.  Go here and you can see her tutorial on how to make a Duck Tape Clutch.

Here's my version.

Give it a try!!!  Let me see what you can do!!

HOUNDSTOOTH DUCK TAPE

"One only needs two tools in life:  WD-40 to make things go, and duct tape to make them stop."

Micheal's is having Daily Deals this week.  I had to go today to pick up a Canvas for an auction item I am painting and found that the Duck Tape is 2/$7.00.

And they had exactly 2 of the Houndstooth patterns.  Did not have a clue what I was going to do, but I knew I had to get them.

After I left Michael's, I stopped by Old Time Pottery just to see what was on sale.

I found this wooden box for 50% off of 1.99.  I picked it up because of the color.  Crimson, my favorite.  LOL

After I got home I was unpacking my sacks and it hit me, use the Duck Tape.

So now I have a cool looking wooden box to store stuff in.  Roll Tide Roll.

What cool crafts have you done with Duck Tape?  Leave me a comment below and let me know.
